WHITE & BLACK

I love white and black ( and a bit of red, of course) combination of colours. It is so classical but not many people can wear this combination well.

These photos were taken on our way to friends place, first 2 on our way there, others on our way back. It is interesting that we are all wearing black and white only.

TWO OF A KIND

Is for a lifetime,
A friendship of two, or sometimes a few, of a kind.

ROMANTIC ROMACE

On Valentine's day the most romantic thing one could do is consider booking the tickets for Madame Butterfly. The sad but beautiful love story, great choreography by Stanton Welch, incredible costumes and amazing performance of Miwako Kubata and Kevin Jackson makes Madame Butterfly my number one choice for this season.

It is on in Sydney from 7th of April!

The Australian Ballet: Event Detail

"The ultimate tale of East meets West
In a small house overlooking the bay of Nagasaki lives beautiful Madame Butterfly. It’s 1904, and the American Lieutenant Pinkerton has fallen under the spell of her innocence and charm  ...

For Butterfly, it’s love, but despite all of Pinkerton’s passion and promises, his heart already belongs to another. When the full scale of his betrayal is revealed, there can be no happily-ever-after. The story first appeared as an opera at the turn of last century and in 1995 was sumptuously recast as a ballet by Australian choreographer Stanton Welch (The Sleeping Beauty, Divergence). This powerful work, unforgettably danced, features some of the most beautiful sets and costumes ever created for The Australian Ballet, from luxurious brocades to dresses as delicate as butterfly wings. Fusing the grandeur of opera with the artistry of ballet, Madame Butterfly is the ultimate tale of East meets West."

MAKING OF PICTURE

This photo-shoot was done 6 months ago in Bar Lazio in Balmain and the final picture won Creativity Award for San Pellegrino Cafe Society Photography Competition. The youngest model at the time was only 17 days old.

I love the winter sun. The windows here are on the left. It was just after 3 o'clock, but in this pictures it looks like it was late afternoon.

PUT YOUR BEST DRESS ON

I always overdress. I prefer it that way. It feels better to stand out than to blend in. And I love colour! Khaki and other neutral colours make me feel ill. And you can never look silly when you look gorgeous, that's for sure.
